Under Victor Lee’s leadership, the UC San Diego chapter of IEEE grew from virtually 400 members to 630, becoming the second-largest inwards the nation. Lee said he’s only giving back. “I’m pretty certain I owe my success to IEEE,” he said. He is graduating amongst a bachelor’s inwards electrical engineering this year, but he’s non quite done amongst UC San Diego. Next year, he volition locomote a master’s pupil here. “This is what I like,” he said. “This is what I’m practiced at.” In his spare time, Lee is transforming his parents’ dwelling into a smart house.
